John D. Wanner, CAE
Mr. Wanner is the founder and President of Wanner Associates. Mr. Wanner has more than 25 years of experience in government relations, convention and seminar management, public affairs and association management. "I believe that we can only meet our goal of being the ‘best" if our clients also meet their stated goals." Mr. Wanner is a former officer of the Pennsylvania Association of Government Relations and member of the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives. He is also the chief staff executive for the firm's management clients. Mr. Wanner is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Alvernia College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a member of the American Society of Association Executives.

Ted Mowatt, CAE
Mr. Mowatt brings more than just impeccable work ethics and experience to Wanner Associates. He has exceptional networking skills and is very well known and highly regarded in the Pennsylvania Capitol. Mr. Mowatt is a second-generation lobbyist and association executive. He provides procurement services with various agencies for clients. Mr. Mowatt brings more than thirteen years of professional experience as a Government Affairs Director for the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He also served as President of the Pennsylvania Association for Government Relations and is Chair of the Pennsylvania Alliance of Health Care Providers. Mr. Mowatt is a 1983 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a member of the American Society of Association Executives. Back to the top

Alex Rahn
Alex Rahn has extensive experience in corporate, government, non-profit and political sectors. Prior to becoming a Wanner Associate Mr. Rahn successfully ran his own state, municipal and federal government relations firm. Mr. Rahn is no stranger to working in the spotlight as he served as the Southeast Political Director for Senator Arlen Specter and spent more than six years working as both the District Director and Campaign Manager for Congressman Curt Weldon. He is also an ex Vice President of Government Affairs for the Rajant Corporation, Government Affairs Manager for Galaxy Scientific, Executive Director for the Delaware County Transportation Management Agency. Mr. Rahn is a member of the PA Association of Government Relations, PA Chamber of Business & Industry and Pennsylvanian's for Effective Government. He is a former Councilman of Ridley Park Borough, former member of the PA Army National Guard and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from West Chester University. Needless to say Mr. Rahn has the experience necessary to expertly handle anything thrown his way. Back to the top

Linda Rhinehart
Ms. Rhinehart brings Wanner Associates a plethora of experience. She complements Wanner Associates government relations with a twist of marketing communications, which adds another layer to the strategic planning for our clients. She has worked with the Pennsylvania General Assembly as a registered lobbyist on a variety of issues facing the Commonwealth for more than twelve years. Her extensive network can be traced to Washington D.C., on Capitol Hill where she worked with both the United States House and Senate. Ms. Rhinehart has served as chapter chairwoman and founder of The Central PA Association of Female Executives and as reciprocity president of the Philanthropic Educational Organization for Central Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her Master's degree in Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University. Back to the top

Jennifer A. Summers
Jennifer Summers has served as Deputy Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers since 1999. She manages their quarterly newsletter, annual conference, board meetings, the statewide MATHCOUNTS program, web content, and serves as liaison for numerous committees. Jennifer also coordinates board meetings and the annual convention for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, Pennsylvania Chapter. Jennifer was formerly employed by the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) in Fairfax, VA. She was responsible for the national trade show, and assisted with member services and the conventions for four years. Jennifer is a graduate of Juniata College, Huntington, Pennsylvania. Shelby L. Metzger
Shelby Metzger serves as Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Propane Gas Association and the Pennsylvania Propane Foundation. Her responsibilities include day to day operations, the planning and management of board meetings, seminars, annual meeting, industry related training courses, special events and member relations. She is editor of the quarterly newsletter and the annual membership directory. Ms. Metzger joined Wanner Associates May 2007, coming from the PA Manufactured Housing Association and has over 12 year’s association management experience. Back to the top

Kimberly Cossar
Kimberly Cossar is the Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Self Storage Association, which includes handling their newsletter, board meetings, conferences and annual meeting. She also attends the Self Storage Association’s trade shows and Affiliated Associations Council meetings to represent the PA Self Storage Association. Kimberly also handles newsletters, board meetings, and retreats for the American Society of Landscape Architects. Ms. Cossar was formerly employed by the Arthritis Foundation, Central Pennsylvania Chapter in Harrisburg for over six years where she wrote grants; developed programs; implemented services; prepared newsletters and marketing materials; and served on several state association boards and committees. Ms. Cossar is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Communications. Back to the top

Lori G. Elliott
Lori Elliott joined Wanner Associates in June, 2006 as the Registration Coordinator. She has a Bachelor's Degree and over 20 years of administrative experience. Ms. Elliott also has over 12 years of experience working with non-profit organizations as both a volunteer and staff member. Ms. Elliott is the Executive Director for the Pennsylvania State Snowmobile Association, Managing Director of the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania and the Account Executive for the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology.
Financial Officer
Cathy M. Peters
Cathy Peters is the Financial Officer responsible for the firm's financial services. Ms. Peters prepares association budgets, financial and treasurer's reports, tax forms, accounts payable and receivable, and performs all other bookkeeping functions. She has over 20 years accounting experience. Prior to joining Wanner Associates, she held a similar position with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association. Back to the top
Member Records/Operations Manager
Holly E. Renner
Holly Renner is the Operations Manager and in charge of distribution of duties among the administrative personnel. Ms. Renner has a degree in Microcomputer Management and handles all internal IT functions at Wanner Associates. She also handles all membership databases for association clientele and serves as the supervisor and backup to the financial officer. Back to the top

Pamela L. Quigley
Pam Quigley handles the day-to-day bookkeeping functions of our associations. Ms. Quigley has 10 years of previous association experience. Before being involved with associations, she held various positions at a local bank. Back to the top
Receptionist
Kimberly Grimm
Kimberly Grimm is the receptionist for all the Associations at Wanner Associates. Among other activities she is the one that answers the phones for the Associations. She has held this position for 10 years and is also personal assistant to head administrator. Previous experiences include Bank Teller / Collector and Inventory Control Clerk for a shoe company. Marisa Francis
Marisa DiNatale-Francis serves in a dedicated role as the Account Executive for the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association. Her responsibilities for the association include development and oversight of framework for organizational policies, association programs, services, all contractual responsibilities and planning and management of conferences, seminars, meetings, special events, member relations and the association’s professional development and certification program. A native of Harrisburg, Marisa has returned to the area in 2002 after living in the Baltimore/Washington DC area for the better part of 12 years. Her previous work experience includes advertising, printing and direct marketing. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Communications. Back to the top

Al Ruscito
Al Ruscito is the Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PA PHCC), which includes handling their marketing, trade magazine, board meetings, annual trade show and conferences. Mr. Ruscito has been with PA PHCC for over 8 years as Executive Director and also worked for them in the past for over 3 years as the Director of Marketing. He is also a Registered Lobbyist. Mr. Ruscito is a graduate of University College, Syracuse, NY with a degree in Mass Communications. Al has also received the following awards: Association Executives Council Best States Magazine Award 2007; Best State Recruitment & Retention National Plumbing Award 2004; Best State Recruitment & Retention National Plumbing Award 2003; and the President’s Star Award – National Association Executives Council 2002. Executive Administrator - PHCC
Elaine Hoffman
Elaine Hoffman is the Executive Administrator for the Pennsylvania Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors, Inc. (PAPHCC). Her responsibilities include the day-to-day operations, and administration of member services. She is also involved in meeting planning for board meetings, educational seminars, as well as the annual convention and trade show. Elaine has worked with PAPHCC since 1986. Being a licensed resident insurance producer, she also serves on the Board for the PAPHCC Benefits Management Group Inc. which is a wholly owned insurance subsidiary of PAPHCC. Back to the top
